The Safari Condo Alto is a lightweight travel trailer lineup known for smart design, aerodynamic shaping, and efficient use of space. These trailers are popular with campers who want something smaller than a traditional RV, but more comfortable and usable than a basic teardrop camper.
The Alto lineup is especially appealing because it does not feel like a typical small trailer. Depending on the model, you can get a real bed, dinette, kitchenette, bathroom space, storage, and large windows that make the interior feel more open.
The Alto R Series is the retractable-roof side of the lineup. This is the series most people think of when they picture the classic Alto shape.
The roof lowers for travel and storage, then raises when you arrive at camp. That design helps the trailer stay compact on the road while still giving you more interior height once you are set up.
With the R-Series, you get 2 floorplan options, the Alto R1713 and Alto 1723.
The R1713 is the better fit if you want the larger rear bed area. The R1723 is the better fit if you want the added convenience of an indoor shower.

The Alto F Series is the fixed-roof side of the lineup. It keeps the lightweight, aerodynamic Alto design, but gives you a more straightforward camping setup with more room for storage and bathroom comfort.
Unlike the R Series, the roof does not retract. That makes the F Series feel more like a traditional travel trailer in day-to-day use, while still staying much lighter and more compact than many full-size RVs.
With the F-Series, you get 3 floorplan options, the Alto F1743, Alto F2114, and Alto F2414.
The F1743 is the lightest fixed-roof Alto. The F2114 gives you more space and a true four-person layout. The F2414 is the largest F Series model, with the most storage and a more comfortable bathroom layout.
